AQUABEAD | Sio2 Spray Sealant

Waxedshine AquaBead is a revolutionary Silica based sealant that utilises a proprietary blend of polysiloxane ingredients that creates both a spray on/rinse off, or wipe on wipe off protection product. When sprayed on and rinsed off, AquaBead will turn the surface extremely glossy as the formula starts to activate with the water. Utilising polysiloxane, AquaBead cures over a 24 hour period at which point the surface will become extremely glossy and hydrophobic. AquaBead can be used as a standalone protection or as a great maintenance for ceramic coatings, helping to boost the hydrophobic properties, UV protection and chemical resistance. AquaBead can be used on all exterior surfaces making it a great product to use in-between washes to maintain a high level of gloss and protection. There are various ways to use AquaBead, spray (spray attachment included) and rinse, wipe on/wipe off and as a drying aid.

Vehicles Without A Ceramic Coating

After using Waxedshine Silica Soap Ceramic Wash where you are not going to use Waxedshine Prime Polish or after using Waxedshine Prime Polish, AquaBead should be applied. AquaBead will seal and shine your vehicles surface working alongside Waxedshine's other products between soap washes, you can hose or lance off loose dirt (using clean water) without a soap wash and AquaBead will still maintain its sealing and hydrophobic protection qualities. With continual use the vehicles surface is similar to a ceramic coating slick finish with fantastic beading ability and no water spotting.

Vehicles With A Ceramic Coating

After using Waxedshine Silica Soap Ceramic Wash apply AquaBead. Waxedshine Silica Soap Ceramic Wash replaces the thin layer of ceramic coating you loose when washing your vehicle and it acts as an activator alongside AquaBead which seals the replacement coating maintaining the life of your ceramic coating. As mentioned, you can use Prime Polish on a ceramic coated surface if required, we would recommend using Waxedshine Silica Soap Ceramic Wash first then Prime Polish then AquaBead.

HOW TO USE: SPRAY AND RINSE APPLICATION

1) Shake well before use.

2) Wash the vehicle thoroughly using either Waxedshine Citrus Pre-Wash (snow foam) or Waxedshine Luxury Shampoo then wash a second time with Waxedshine Silica Soap Ceramic Wash for best results.

3) Leaving the car wet, spray AquaBead onto one panel at a time, wait 10 seconds and then thoroughly rinse off.

4) Continue step 3 around the vehicle.

5) Dry any excess water off with a drying towel.

HOW TO USE: WIPE ON/OFF METHOD/DRY AID

1) Shake well before use.

2) Make sure the vehicle is fully washed and ready for protection as above. After washing if you wish to use Waxedshine Prime Polish then apply it now.

3) Prepare 2 brand new plush microfibers. Wet one of the towels so it is damp.

4) Mist AquaBead evenly onto the damp towel and working one panel at a time, spread AquaBead in a crosshatched pattern onto one panel.

5) Immediately follow with the dry microfiber towel, making sure to wipe the surface thoroughly until you achieve a smooth, slick finish.

6) Continue step 4 around the full vehicle wiping all surfaces including glass, plastics, paintwork and rims.

Note

As highlighted earlier AquaBead has a specific slow release curing mechanism which after application full curing will be achieved after 24 hours. The vehicle may be left outside during this process regardless of weather conditions.
